Our second event this term was the Sporthall Athletics event held on Tuesday 13th February at Halsted Leisure Centre. We were able to take twenty children from across Year 5 and 6! 

It was an extremely well organised event with six track and field events. The children could take part in up to four events. Some of the events were new to the children such as six lap paarlauf but this did not deter them. Their resilience shined through and every child performed to the best of their ability. Once again, the children cheered each other on as well as children from other schools. Unfortunately, we came 6th overall but it was definitely an event that the children thoroughly enjoyed being part of and something we will look forward to taking part in again next year.
