We were excited to welcome local Essex author Chrissie Sains to come and spend the day with Year 3 as part of their 'Author Study' writing unit. The children took part in several workshops including ‘creating your own villain’. As we continue to inspire all the  children to foster a love of reading, we asked Chrissie to lead a Collective Worship with the whole school too. 

Now, Year 3 have been inspired to write their own stories and are currently writing a section from ‘An alien in the jam factory’ to share with Chrissie. She is excited to read them!
