Year 5 were the first children to walk into the dome and out into space! The children were taken on a tour of the major planets; Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune, as well as other major aspects in the solar system such as our moon and other planets moons. In addition to this, they were introduced to stargazing and the night sky.

Year 6 used the dome to go BACK in time to Ancient Greece and looked at the constellations and how they link with Zodiac signs and Greek Gods. Guiseppe talked about the history and stories of Greek mythology. The children learnt all about Hades and his marriage to Persephone and the effect that this had on our seasons - an intriguing story of love, power and the cycle of life!

What an amazing experience for all the children and the perfect to learn more as part of their Science (Y5) and History (Y6) topics.
