Year 4 were fully immersed into the Roman topic through a visit from the Roman Britain Workshop! The sessions included an introduction to a Roman Centurion and his camp, completing camp jobs, trying on armour, playing roman games, artefact handling, marching to latin commands with Roman shields and swords and trying some traditional Roman stew. They also took part in a simple discussion of the invasion of Britain by the Roman army.
