Year 5 are now fully into Space-learning mode and have spent this week immersing themselves in Space themed lessons in Art and Science.

In Art, they used shading and smudging techniques with chalks to create a picture of our moon. They look beautiful and the children can't wait for their parents to see them at parents' evening! 

In Science, they learnt about the different phases of the moon and created a spinning wheel to show what the moon looks like at each phase.
