In Year Four, we have been finding out about the parts of a river. The children made 3D river dioramas using shoeboxes, newspaper, paint and tissue paper. They labelled the source, meander, mouth and tributary on their dioramas. 

We then wrote instructions about how to make them, including all the features of instructional writing that we had been learning about in English.

We are very proud of the children's writing, which is now on display in class.
