St Andrew's took part of a morning of rugby drills, skills and development at Braintree Rugby Club on Tuesday 8^th October with members of the first team. Once the training was over, the two schools got the chance to show off their skills in smaller matches before playing a match against each other, the winner of which would reach the Central Essex finals.

From the first whistle, both teams were incredibly evenly matched. The score ebbed and flowed throughout the game, where at the final whistle the scores were 15 - 15 and extra time. It felt like the game could have gone on for another hour, before St Andrew's put a wonderful passage of play together to heroically cross the line and take the win and the team to the final in February!
