Year 4 had a fantastic Roman Day in the sunshine with the centurion Julius Marcellinus. He is an acting centurion in II Legion Augusta, the Legion which served with the invasion force of Claudius in 43AD. The children got to meet the Centurion, handle and try on equipment and learn all about the history of the Roman invasion!
