Our Curriculum for Music in St. Andrew’s aims for all children to become confident, creative musicians who enjoy listening to and making music reflecting a range of genres and traditions. We want our children to be able to have an appreciation of musical genres, to be able to learn a variety of instruments and develop the transferable skills of listening and appraising, coordination, rhythm and the confidence to perform. Where possible, we make links to local composers and musicians.
