St Andrew's Junior School Hatfield Peverel

Ofsted and SIAMs inspections

St. Andrew's was graded as GOOD by Ofsted in January 2019. Since then, Mrs Rebecca Black was promoted to Headteacher and has continued to strive the school forwards, ensuring that all children have the opportunity to shine through our broad and balanced curriculum. This allows everyone the opportunity to develop new skills and to find what is their ‘gift’- what they will shine at. Our CARE values of Compassion, Achievement, Respect and Enjoyment are the foundation of all expectations at St Andrew’s. Supporting children to make good choices in school, to become the next generation of adults who care about each other, the environment and the wider global community are key. Please see the Ofsted 2019 report document below.

We are a place where every child is loved and known and every child shines. This is based on the bible verse Matthew 5:16 - Let your light shine. As a church school, we are also inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMs). SIAMs explores ways in which each school’s theologically rooted Christian vision drives its work and enables the school to live up to its foundation as a Church school. You can read our latest report from 2016 in the document below.
